Canadian Constitution Foundation  CCF Appoints New Executive DirectorCanadian Constitution Foundation, July 13, 2010
It is with pleasure that the Board of Directors of the Canadian Constitution Foundation announces the appointment of Chris Schafer as Executive Director, effective September 1st, 2010. He will work with a small team of dedicated staff, advisors, volunteers and supporters committed to upholding the constitutional freedoms of Canadians. Since being called to the Ontario bar, Chris has been an associate at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Ottawa. He holds an Honours BA in Political Science (Wilfrid Laurier), a Masters in Political Science (University of Western Ontario) and an LL.B. (Osgoode Hall Law School). A published author, Chris has written several studies and articles on public policy and legal issues. Chris will be based in Toronto and will oversee the CCF’s Calgary office. The board thanks John for his initiative and dedication to the mission of the Foundation over the last five years.
